We Survived!

We managed to survive the hurricane well, only a 10 minute loss of power.  The power loss was even in the middle of the night so we barely noticed it.

Nick stayed up a good portion of the night doing his weather nerd stuff and watching the storm and seeing its track according to the weather channel.  Since our unit faces south west we were relatively sheltered from most of the winds.

Adam loved playing in all the puddles yesterday after the rain stopped.

18 Months!

Adam turned 18 months on Sunday and had his 18-month doctor appointment yesterday.  Where did the time go?  He had a wonderful visit (except for the shot part) and we found out that he has had quite the growth spurt in the last three months.  He jumped from the 10%-tile in weight to the 29%-tile! It must be from all those blueberries he's eating.  For those of you who are tracking his stats, he's now 32.75 inches tall (that's almost 3ft tall for you math challenged people) and weighs 24.5lbs.  That means he's done with the infant medicine, wahoo now we can buy bigger bottles of the ibuprofen (Motron) and acetaminophen (Tylenol).

The next big milestones will the potty training and transitioning to a big boy bed this fall.  I just ordered his potty seat with my pampers rewards and maybe we'll get lucky we will get some early Christmas contributions for Adam's big boy bed that we should think about ordering soon.

Old McDonald had a Farm

Adam is currently very interested in Old McDonald.  Here's the proof...

I know it's not displaying properly, but I can't figure out how to rotate the video from the way we filmed it.  So you'll have to deal until I figure out the technical aspects.

Yes, We've Moved

We trying to think of ways to keep the family informed of all our activities.  Therefore in an effort to do that, we have moved our blog from one blogging service to another.  We'll see how long this one lasts.  In the mean time, here are some new fun pictures of the family.
