Happy Anniversary
Can you believe it's been 6 years? I sure haven't! Last night a friend graciously hung out with Adam while Nick and I got some time to ourselves and an uninterrupted meal to boot. The restaurant happened to be at the marina close to our house so we were able to check out some pretty nice boats, including a few Scots. Some of the Scots were in better shape than others. If anyone is looking to restore a pretty beat up Flying Scot that isn't rigged for racing, I know of a few you could probably acquire. We did run into a beautiful new one, 5926 if I recall correctly. She looked wonderful with her red waterline.
When we came home I went up to give Adam a kiss goodnight and give him his doggy. Not sure how he didn't throw a hissy fit without his dog, but that's another story all together. I thought he was asleep, but he was still awake a little and called for me as I left the room. When he saw me he was so excited and proceeded to say, "You came back!" It about broke my heart that he thought I would leave him forever, but his excitement to see me was so cute, I couldn't help but snuggle up with him for a few minutes while he finally drifted off to sleep.

Confirmed...
We have a confirmed human growing in leaps and bounds right now. In case you haven't heard the human happens to male genitalia. At the risk of showing of the little guys pieces here is the proof!

There's big news afoot..
There is some big news spreading around the Karsko household. There are two more feet arriving in just a few short months, at least it feels like just a few short months. That's right, we are expecting and are due in October! We couldn't be happier to add another addition to the family. Looking forward to October and beyond. Adam is excited to be a big brother, but is enjoying lots of special time with mommy and daddy before baby arrives.

Hello Spring!
I think it's safe to say that spring has officially sprung here. Of course I don't think we have much of a thaw out from as this winter was so mild.
Here is Adam playing in the only snow we got this winter. Pretty depressing if you ask me. Hopefully next year we'll get more so Adam can have some fun with the sled he got for Christmas. Until then, bring on the warm weather!
I suppose for us that means some spring cleaning and maintenance we need to do. It's hard to imagine we have already been in the new house for a quarter of a year. Before we know it, it will be many more years on top of that. After the holidays, we've kept a relatively low profile, but now that spring is here we are picking up in our fun fill activities between trips and visitors this spring and summer is shaping up to be a fun one. We are looking forward to seeing everyone soon!

Happy Birthday Big Boy!
| Happy Birthday Celebration at School |
A certain someone is turning 2 today! Mommy and daddy couldn't be more proud of our little guy. A lot has happened in the last year.
Mommy finally stopped nursing.
Our first trip to the beach
Our big move.
Adam learned to use the potty.
Then moved into his big boy bed.
We went from a few words to sentences like, "No want Jesus!" (In the middle of a silent church.)
We can't wait to see what next year has to offer us...let the new challenges start, we're ready for them and all the fun we have in store a long with them.

The Little Things
Yesterday we went to our neighbors for a Super Bowl party. We had such a good time meeting new people and getting to know our new neighbors. It really was a blast. Adam was his typical self and was the complete life of the party, flirting with all the women and winning the hearts of some. It amazes me how he can really play up a room.
I think the two biggest highlights of the evening for me were how proud he was to use the potty at a strangers house. He was so proud of himself that he was running up to people he had never spoken to and yelling, yes I mean yelling, "POO! POO!" because he went poo poo in the potty. Good thing this was a very kid friendly party, otherwise I might have been mortified.
The other highlight was as we were saying our goodbyes for the evening to walk the few houses home, per our usual, I asked Adam to say good night to his new "friends" and to thank the host for having us. Well upon making his way to his latest older woman fling, he gave her a huge hug. She proceeded to ask for a kiss on the cheek because really what woman wants one on the lips from a 2 year old other than his mommy. Well to her surprise, he grabbed her face, turned it towards her and planted a nice big, sloppy kiss on her lips. Boy did that get a rise out of the other women int he room.
I think I'm going to be in trouble in a few years...

Sick Days
We have not been blessed with a lot of good health so far this year. Between flus, colds, sinus infections, and stomach viruses, we have been a viral house. Today was Adam's only "sick" day that he's had, basically that means mommy and daddy have been beat up pretty badly recently. Instead of laying around on the couch and cuddling, because really who would do that, Adam decided he wanted to do some painting this morning.
So we got out the wonderful paints that we got for Christmas from Aunt sis and did some great painting. We learned about mixing red and yellow to make orange, though we didn't quite make it, there was still a little more yellow needed before we gave up on that mixture. Regardless, here is one of Adam's masterpieces.
I think it's safe to say that he is feeling better now and will be heading back to school tomorrow.

Happy New Year!
It's only the beginning of January and it's already been a busy year! The biggest news is that, Adam is not potty trained! He's not perfect yet, but he definitely tells us and his teachers when he has to go potty. Yesterday was the first day that we went accident free all day. We're so proud of him.
He really is a big boy now. Check out some shots we took over the holidays.
