We have officially moved into the new place. Now it's time to settle in...
We are slowly unpacking boxes and figuring out what we need and want to help us feel more at home. We finally have internet back in the house, not that we missed the lack of TV and internet so far this week, but when we do have a minute to sit down and really take it all in, it will be nice.
This weekend we will be doing some painting and if we are feeling really crazy, maybe even ordering our new desk(s). First we have to measure to make sure they fit!
We are collecting skype IDs to do virtual tours with everyone who's interested.

We're Moving!
In case you haven't heard yet, Nick and I sold our condo (in a week in a terrible market mind you!) and bought a house across the street from our condo building. We will be moving into the house just after thanksgiving. We are super excited for the move. This will truly be a house we are in for a long time! So much space in fact, we've invited the whole family to spend Christmas with us and celebrate the new house in style. We can't wait to share the new house with everyone.
A super thanks goes to our realtor, Irina Babb, for a fantastic job in both the sale and purchase of the new place. We couldn't be happier.

So I guess it is true...
People had told me that by the time your little one gets his eye teeth they are so used to it that you hardly notice them. Well that wasn't quite the case, but we didn't have any nights of fits like we usually do until last night when Adam was up multiple times. He and I cuddled together on the couch most of the night, resulting in little sleep for mommy with a squirmy little one crawling all over me as I held him. Finally after his last screaming fit at 4:30am wasn't going away just by holding mommy I stuck my finger in his mouth only to find a little point sticking through the gums.
Out came the Tylenol! By this point Nick was up so Adam and I moved to our bed until he fell asleep deep enough not to wake up and tell me, "No" when I tried to put him in his crib. We the the little guy sleep in a little more this morning so he could get his rest. Mommy and Daddy on the other hand are hopped up on caffeine.
Only 7 more to go...

Splish Splash
We try to take Adam to the play ground pretty regularly for some fun play time. Well the end of last week it had rained a good bit, but with the sun out we were itching to go play with our friends. Instead of playing on the playground equipment, water puddles were the toy of choice. Check out Adam's love for water.

Adam and his Women
Well Adam has had a girl friend at school for a while now. Little Addie and Adam used to have breakfast together every morning. She's since moved into the Beginners room (2 year olds) and has left Adam in the dust. We still have play dates and they see each other all the time, but apparently she now has competition! Last night Adam and Anna (a girl who lives in our building) had an impromptu play date at the playground. Here's a picture of them as we were heading home for the evening.
They walked home together holding hands the whole way. Such cuties! Adam and your older women!

We Survived!
We managed to survive the hurricane well, only a 10 minute loss of power. The power loss was even in the middle of the night so we barely noticed it.
Nick stayed up a good portion of the night doing his weather nerd stuff and watching the storm and seeing its track according to the weather channel. Since our unit faces south west we were relatively sheltered from most of the winds.
Adam loved playing in all the puddles yesterday after the rain stopped.

18 Months!
Adam turned 18 months on Sunday and had his 18-month doctor appointment yesterday. Where did the time go? He had a wonderful visit (except for the shot part) and we found out that he has had quite the growth spurt in the last three months. He jumped from the 10%-tile in weight to the 29%-tile! It must be from all those blueberries he's eating. For those of you who are tracking his stats, he's now 32.75 inches tall (that's almost 3ft tall for you math challenged people) and weighs 24.5lbs. That means he's done with the infant medicine, wahoo now we can buy bigger bottles of the ibuprofen (Motron) and acetaminophen (Tylenol).
The next big milestones will the potty training and transitioning to a big boy bed this fall. I just ordered his potty seat with my pampers rewards and maybe we'll get lucky we will get some early Christmas contributions for Adam's big boy bed that we should think about ordering soon.

Old McDonald had a Farm
Adam is currently very interested in Old McDonald. Here's the proof...
I know it's not displaying properly, but I can't figure out how to rotate the video from the way we filmed it. So you'll have to deal until I figure out the technical aspects.

Yes, We've Moved
We trying to think of ways to keep the family informed of all our activities. Therefore in an effort to do that, we have moved our blog from one blogging service to another. We'll see how long this one lasts. In the mean time, here are some new fun pictures of the family.
